Black fungus

A plate of noodle (noodle type is wanton noodle) with Hakka char yuk (deep fried pork) braised with black fungus - MYR6. I like to eat black fungus (also known as cloud ear fungus) for its slippery yet crunchy texture and it tastes very good when braised with Hakka deep fried pork. Do you like to eat it?

  1. I do love black fungus, especially in soup and mixed vegetable. And it goes well with braised vinegar trotter too.

    1. Soup and mixed vegetables, yes, agreed but of all the braised vinegar trotter that I have seen and ate, I have not encountered black fungus before. Next time I see one I will let you know.

    1. You are a good cook so I am sure you can cook the dish too. Hopefully it will help a bit with the home sick feeling.
