Pablo

One Pablo mini cheese tart to try

Side view

It smells like a butter cookie. The crust tastes like digestive biscuits. The cheese fillings taste a bit like thick yogurt and you can taste that it is salty and sourish. Strong taste when compared to the subtle taste of Bake's cheese tart. I prefer Bake cheese tarts and Tokyo Secret cheese tarts to this one.

MYR8.90 nett for one mini cheese tart.

There are bigger cheese tarts selling at about MYR46 each and premium cheese tarts at about MYR80 each. They also sell drinks.

Pablo freshly baked cheese tart at One Utama. Although there is a long queue but it moves very quickly.

  1. I would love to try...one but no, I will not queue for it or anything else, for that matter. So expensive, they should make more available, open more counters for the convenience of their customers and not subject them to such abuse and disrespect.

I guess I am old, no patience with this kind of thing - it seems to be the lifestyle now, the accepted norm among the young especially, to queue everywhere and wait for something currently of high demand.

    1. Nowadays even fast food like KFC and MCD need to queue up.

    2. I don't go to those either. Hehehehehe!!! I like those places with the UFO's. You place your orders and pay, then you go and sit down and when it lights up, you go and collect, no need to stand in line and wait and wait. Some places, they will serve you once your orders are ready.

    3. Here we even have to queue to place our order at those places with the UFOs but can go and sit down to wait to collect the order.

  2. Exactly a year ago, my wife queued up at the Tokyo's streets in Winter. It was so delicious to eat them fresh & hot in the cold weather. Now I must try again at 1-U. It could be a different story. LOL

  5. From your description, it does not fit what I am looking for in a cheese tart. I am going to give it a pass.

  7. How big is a rm80 tart? :)

I'm (fortunately) not a huge fan of cheese tarts. Overall I still prefer egg tarts hehe.
