Eat my words

A few weeks ago, when I read Rose World's post about OTWC, I commented that I am not a fan. Little did I know at that time that I would eat there again in the near future. At 7.30 am, not many eateries were opened for business and OTWC was there so two of us ordered some food to share.

From the breakfast value deal menu, we selected nasi lemak with a drink and we upgraded the drink to a cup of white coffee at a fee. Then we added on a set of toasts with kaya and butter.

The added-on toast with butter and kaya costs MYR2.20 nett.

The upgraded white coffee with nasi lemak (coconut milk rice) costs MYR12 nett which I think is quite expensive since there is no meat and only a very nice looking sunny side up egg.

Total Bill is MYR14.20 nett.

  1. Not a fan of that franchise place either. Poor quality control, varied between outlets and from day to day...and not cheap. I hear the ones in Oz have all closed down.

  2. I like their nasi lemak, maybe Tea Garden has a piece of chicken for that price, right?

    2. They closed down because the business was poor & bad feng shui (next to Balai) with lousy parking.

  4. Lol. I used to enjoy its nasi lemak with chicken wing at the side. It was good. But many years I did not patronise the shop till 2 months ago when I were in KLIA.

    1. Hahaha, so this is your place for late dinner/supper. This means they open early and close late - so diligent!

  7. I frequent this place weekly as it is conveniently next to my regular 24/7 gym. I could get my half boiled eggs and hot soya milk fix there as light food to start gym exercise.

  8. Agree the price is too high for just egg. The coffee is too small to justify the price also.
